Marti Benjamin, MBA, PCC, CCMC
Business and Career Coach
“Champion for a Great Work-Life!”
Refusing to sacrifice great work for a great life, Marti Benjamin has proven it’s possible to have both simultaneously. When she found herself in a job that ate her life, she launched her crusade for work she could love. Now she leads fed-up and frustrated professionals to their own rich work-life in her business and career coaching practice.
Professional coaching is Marti’s third career focused on service to others. She began her career building strong families through child abuse prevention programs. She held Director and Officer level positions in mission-driven organizations, where she designed new funding models and doubled the capacity of the programs to serve vulnerable children and their families.
Marti transitioned to the healthcare field leading non-profits, hospitals divisions, medical and dental practices, and health care management companies. She brought business discipline to health service organizations while executing the mission of service. Three different CEOs have credited Marti with saving their company when she led teams to solve persistent problems and create sustainable, cost-effective and patient-friendly systems.
Marti pursued a professional coaching career, founding her business in 2004. She studied how personality strengths contribute to personal satisfaction and now designs strengths-based coaching programs. Her proprietary systems guide clients to cut through their confusion and find their richly rewarding work-life in about half the time, when compared to the national average.
In addition to her MBA, Marti holds the Professional Certified Coach, the Certified Career Management Coach and the ‘Get Clear, Get Found, Get Hired’ credential. She is a member of the International Coach Federation and the Nevada Professional Coaches Association, where she has served on the Executive Committee for five of the past eight years.
In 2011, Marti put her findings on creating a great work-life in writing and published, Discover UR Best Self: Guide to a Great Work-Life. She’s currently writing another book based on the management lessons she’s learned from her dog, Chloe, who’s also known as MizBizWiz.
Marti makes her home in Reno, Nevada with her husband Len, a Business Development executive. In 2006, they adopted Chloe, a mixed breed stray, who has stolen their hearts and earned their adoration as she quietly and benevolently dictates the rhythm of the household.
